About Us
An independent fan guide to the vehicles, landscapes, equipment and discoveries in Over the Hill.

1. A companion for the next drive
Over the Hill Hub is an independent English-language fan website for players who want to spend less time searching through menus and more time exploring. It brings vehicles, equipment, wildlife, maps and a small collection of focused guides into one place. The aim is to answer practical questions: which trail unlocks a vehicle, what an upgrade costs, or where to begin a photography trip.
Over the Hill rewards taking your time and choosing a route that suits your vehicle. The site follows that approach. A useful explanation should help you prepare for the next stretch of trail without pretending that one setup is best for every surface, condition or player.
2. The garage
The vehicle list covers 21 vehicles across Trail, Wagon, Workhorse and Expedition classes. Each entry uses its matched default game model and displays known stock specifications, engine tiers, factory colours, distance-based liveries and an unlock requirement. The information stays visible in the list so vehicles are easier to compare.
Mass, torque, suspension and wheel values describe game settings. They are not presented as independently measured performance rankings. Vehicles in the same class can share engine settings without having the same bodywork, and an engine speed cap does not guarantee that speed on rough terrain.
3. Maps for planning and discovery
The maps cover five areas across Canada and Algeria. Satellite-style terrain and in-game topographic views help you read the landscape, while markers and ordered challenge checkpoints help identify the next objective. Category filters let you focus on the kind of stop you are looking for.
Local discovery checklists, personal notes and temporary measurements support route planning. They stay separate from your actual game save. Potential wildlife and meteorite positions are also separate from a guarantee that a particular spawn will be active when you arrive.
4. Equipment and the wider Wiki
The Wiki separates equipment, collectibles, upgrades, wildlife and achievements. Equipment entries explain recovery and travel options. Upgrade entries distinguish stock settings from purchased tiers and costs. Collectible information explains how discoveries and recoveries connect with progression.
Wildlife coverage includes 27 animals with matching game models and confirmed habitat, condition and first-photo information. The achievement list includes 62 goals, with hidden requirements separated for players avoiding spoilers. Each category is organized as a list for checking while planning or playing.
5. Three guides with a clear purpose
The guides have three defined topics: Pebbles, upgrade order and meteorite recovery; Emerald Lake challenge trails and their vehicle or Kayaks rewards; and a focused Sasquatch search and photography plan. The collection stays small so each article can address a concrete problem in detail.
Route diagrams, checkpoint maps, tables and checklists appear where they help you make a decision. The guides distinguish a documented mechanic from practical advice, and a possible search area from a guaranteed encounter. Instructions should not depend on an invented shortcut, timer or personal gameplay result.
6. How coverage is checked
Information is checked against identifiable game material, developer announcements, public documentation, gameplay footage and community findings. Where accounts differ, the build, date, vehicle identity and type of evidence matter. An attractive screenshot by itself is not enough to establish a model’s identity or confirm a mechanic.
Evidence and asset records are retained for maintenance. Public explanations focus on what a player needs to know. Editorial research is not presented as proof that every entry has been personally tested in the release build, and the site does not publish invented author credentials or claims about a team’s playtime.
7. Versions and corrections
Demo observations remain labelled where they help explain an older instruction or unlock. A later release change takes priority over an earlier plan when the two conflict. The Update page keeps original announcement dates so pre-launch news can be read in its proper context.
Displayed update dates reflect substantive content changes rather than routine builds or unchanged source checks. If something differs in your game, email [email protected] with the page, entry, build or platform and the difference you observed. That context makes an issue easier to investigate.
8. Images and explanatory artwork
Models help identify the vehicle, animal or item being discussed. Scenic game images provide context for an area or trip. Original illustrations support the site’s identity, while guide diagrams explain information. Decorative imagery is not a calibrated game map or a record of an actual animal spawn.
Game artwork and community material have their own rights holders. The site’s identity does not claim ownership of those works. If an image is misidentified or raises an ownership concern, provide the relevant page and enough information to locate the material when contacting the site.
9. Independence and service boundaries
Over the Hill Hub is not the official game website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Funselektor or its development partners. Names of the game and its creators identify the subject being covered; they do not represent an official relationship.
The site does not sell game access, operate a payment or user account system, restore saves or provide private multiplayer support. Purchase, refund and game account matters need to be handled through the relevant game or storefront service.
10. Contact and feedback
Use [email protected] for corrections, missing information, image concerns, accessibility problems or questions about the website. A precise message is more useful than a long one: identify the page and the detail you want reviewed.
The Contact Us page explains what to include for different requests. Privacy and copyright matters have separate pages so you can understand the site’s practices and the information useful for a review before writing.
