OVER THE HILL HUB / SITE INFORMATION

Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you browse Over the Hill Hub, use its guides or follow links to other services.

Last updated:

1. Scope of these terms

These Terms of Service apply to overthehillhub.org and its published pages, guides, lists and interactive maps. Over the Hill Hub provides independent fan information about Over the Hill. The site’s name does not identify the game developer, publisher, storefront or multiplayer operator.

Use the website in a manner permitted by applicable law and these terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use. Questions about these terms or a particular page can be sent to [email protected].

2. What the website provides

The site offers vehicle specifications, equipment and upgrade information, wildlife and achievement lists, map locations, focused guides and dated announcements. Maps and discovery checklists assist with planning and recording information on this website. They do not control the game, unlock content, alter a save or verify a game account’s progress.

The current site has no paid membership, checkout, user account system or official support portal. No purchase or account connection is required to read it. These terms do not replace the licence, storefront agreement or other conditions that apply to the game itself.

3. Gameplay information and version differences

Game behaviour can change between a Demo, the release build, patches, platforms and individual sessions. Read a value or instruction labelled for a particular version in that context. A historical announcement records what was announced at that time; it does not guarantee that an earlier future plan remains unchanged.

Vehicle settings are not independent performance tests. A speed cap does not guarantee that speed across rough terrain, and a potential wildlife or meteorite position does not guarantee an active spawn. Follow the game’s current prompts and conditions when making a decision that affects your session or save.

4. Personal use and sharing

You may browse the site, use its information for personal gameplay and share links to pages or map views. Ordinary linking does not require special permission. Limited quotation or other reuse may also be permitted by applicable law, subject to its conditions.

These terms do not grant permission to republish complete original guides, mirror the website, remove ownership notices or present its branding as your own. Rights in game imagery, map renders and other third-party assets remain separate from rights in the site’s original text or design. See the Copyright page for reuse and ownership questions.

5. Conduct and automated access

Do not introduce malicious code, attempt to compromise the service, bypass access controls or deliberately overload delivery infrastructure. Do not use the site or its contact address for fraud, unlawful material, harassment or impersonation of the operator, contributors or the game’s creators.

Automated access must not undermine availability or security. A publicly reachable page is not permission to evade technical restrictions or disregard content rights. Proportionate measures may be taken to limit abusive traffic or restrict access when necessary to protect the service.

6. Local map records

Discoveries and personal notes use local storage in your browser. The site does not back them up to an account. Clearing site data, changing browser profiles, blocking storage or changes to storage support may affect whether earlier records remain available.

Keep information you need independently of the map interface. Do not use a local note as the only copy of important material or as a place to keep account credentials. Shared map links identify a view or marker; they do not transfer your notebook, checklist or game progress.

7. Corrections and material you send

Provide information you are entitled to share when submitting a correction. Include enough context to identify the entry and investigate the issue, such as the build, platform and what differs. Relevant factual information may be used to review and correct the site.

A correction email does not transfer copyright in an attached photograph, video or article. If you want creative material published, explain what you own and the permission you offer. There is no promise to publish a submission, credit a particular identity or respond within a fixed time.

8. Independent services and game support

Stores, community platforms, email providers and the game’s own services operate independently of this website. Their terms, privacy practices and availability apply when you use them. Mentioning an announcement or community finding does not make the fan site responsible for the service involved.

The site cannot issue a game refund, restore a save, recover a storefront account or inspect private multiplayer records. It does not act for the developer or publisher. Never send game credentials, recovery tokens or payment details to this website when seeking that kind of assistance.

9. Availability and content changes

Pages and features may be corrected, reorganized, temporarily unavailable or removed. Map records and local storage support can change as the website is maintained. We aim to preserve useful content but do not promise permanent hosting, uninterrupted access or that every earlier page address will remain available.

Information is provided for general gameplay assistance. It may contain errors or become outdated. Where a known limitation materially changes how a record should be used, the page should explain that limitation. A page date does not promise that every fact has been retested in every build.

10. Limitations and mandatory rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided on an as-available basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, perfect accuracy, suitability for a particular purpose or a particular gameplay outcome. Take reasonable care with your device, account and save, and check version-sensitive instructions before relying on them.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, remedy or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer protections or prevent a complaint, report or other lawful exercise of your rights.

11. Raising a concern

Contact [email protected] about the content or operation of this fan website. Identify the page and issue so a website error can be distinguished from a game bug, platform problem or difference between versions. Clarification may be needed before a correction or other action can be considered.

Contacting the site does not require you to give up a legal remedy or prevent you from exercising rights available under applicable law. The site’s email review process is intended to help resolve concerns about its own content and operation.

12. Changes to these terms

The terms may be revised when the website or its operation changes. The current version will be published here with its substantive update date. Review the terms when using a new feature or when the conditions of use are relevant to your question.

A revision does not give the site ownership of material previously supplied by someone else or automatically authorize a new use of personal information. The Privacy Policy and Copyright page address those matters separately.
