Equipment / 01

Winch

Use the winch to pull a stuck vehicle toward a tree, another vehicle or a portable anchor.

Access: Radial menu → Winch
Attachment: Tree, another vehicle or portable anchor

Field notes

In the Demo, open the winch from the radial menu, choose an attachment point on your vehicle, then select the target.

If a cable pull leaves you on your side, a jack provides another recovery option.

The winch remains available between recoveries. Portable anchors are equipped consumables; they do not replace the vehicle’s winch.

Planks

Planks bridge gaps in the terrain. Line up your vehicle before committing to the crossing.

Repair Kit

A repair kit restores vehicle health and can also be used on a friend’s vehicle.

Co-op use: Repair your own or a friend’s vehicle using a limited supply

Repair supplies are limited in the Demo. Keep track of what remains after helping another driver.

Portable Winch / Anchor

A portable anchor gives the winch an attachment point where no tree or teammate is within reach.

Camp Tool

Set up camp to make time pass more quickly.

Co-op camping: All players must be grouped together

In Demo co-op, gather all players before placing the campsite.

The October 16 update makes weather effects accelerate correctly while camping.

Cabins replenish equipped tools, making a stop useful before another recovery or photography trip.
